The quest "Fragments of the Past" will become available once you complete the account-wide Mythic attunement quest line. This quest can be completed on Mythic or Heroic difficulty. Four of the Soul Fragments will be found in the Lower Return to Karazhan dungeon, while the fifth will be found in the Upper Return to Karazhan dungeon (this is only relevant if you do this on Heroic difficulty). Beginning with Lower Return to Karazha, the Opera Hall Soul Fragment can be found in front of the stage after you have completed the Opera Hall event and have emerged in the stands after heading back stage. Next, the Guest Chambers Soul Fragment can be found in the last room on the left as you head towards the Maiden of Virtue. The Servant Quarters Soul Fragment is the only one that is explicitly out of the way and requires you to head to the northeastern room of the Servant Quarters. This area can be accessed to the northeast of the room in which Atunemen the Huntsman is located. The Banquet Hall Soul Fragment is found right near where Moroes (the final boss of the Lower Return to Karazhan dungeon) is located. Finally, the Menagerie Soul Fragment can be found in Upper Return to Karazhan and will spawn near the corpse of The Curator (the first boss of the dungeon) when it's defeated. Once you have channeled on each Soul Fragment, return to Archmage Khadgar in Deadwind Pass to turn in this quest. These Soul Fragments CAN be interacted with once the dungeon is complete, but can only be interacted with once per run, so you'll need to be close to another player that interacts with these crystals; this also means that they despawn once interacted with.
