#1) You cannot stack same-type damage over time options between players. Like multiple Witherhoard, Osteo Striga, Scorch, and Freeze shatter damage. But you can inflict each of these 4 different types as long as you don’t double up. However, this does not include Anarchy, which you can stack.
#2) Conflicting damage over time options will not proc Starfire Protocol. So it is not useful to use multiple Witherhoards just for Starfire because only the one getting the damage will get the energy return. However, if you’re using Gjallarhorn on the team, you will find that your Wolfpack rounds will often be enough to generate the grenade energy you need.
#3) DPS is not solely dependent on damage and RPM. Your clip size and reload speed also matter a lot. Which is why people will often favor auto loading or demolitionist heavy weapons to load their weapons faster. Either by swapping between auto loading guns like an auto loading rocket and Witherhoard or by using a demolitionist rocket with Starfire nade spamming to reload it and output grenade damage. Which is why the demo + explosive light on Hothead is so popular on Warlocks.
