3 DPS Strategies You Need to Know for Destiny 2 Lightfall #shorts. There are a lot of ways to optimize your DPS in Destiny 2 Lightfall that can get very complicated. Here are 3 basic tips that can improve anyone’s DPS right away.
#1) Use your DPS armor mods and save that to a custom loadout. You can use 3 weapon surges on your legs for up to 22% more damage, 2-3 ammo reserves on your chest, loader and dexterity on your arms, and ammo finders and scout on your helmet. Each of which will improve your ability to output damage considerably and for basically free.
#2) Use a player buff like Well or empowering rift and an enemy debuff like weakening grenade, Divinity, or Tractor cannon. Now this may sound obvious, but too often do I see people forgetting about one of these or not standing in the well. Furthermore, if you're a lower power level, you can really help the team damage by using Tractor Cannon to increase their damage by 30% while also still using your super, special, and build damage.
#3) Use a good DPS and appropriate special ammo option. Because once you run out of ammo in your heavy, like we often see with rockets, you need something else. If your team is using 1 Gjallarhorn, you can use a legendary rocket with Witherhoard or Arbalest or Izanagi, etc. If your exotic choice is taken, I recommend a rapid fire fusion rifle like Cartesian Coordinate, Riptide, Likely Suspect, or Iterative Loop.
