HUGE Military Rifle Collection! Fuller Gun Collection at Chickamauga, History and Favorites
Having only a 7th grade education and a passion for vintage weapons, Claud Fuller pursued a full time career to help grow his collection. He became an engineer and inventor, holding over 50 patents in the brick laying industry. He had an interest in the mechanics of how things worked and was very intrigued with the many different inventions throughout time. His wife Zenada also helped him grow his collection of old militaria. They retired in Chattanooga, TN and displayed their collection for many to come and see. They realized that these historical items needed to be presented for many more to see for future generations so a portion of the collection was given to the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, with the stipulation that it would always be on display. Thanks to the preservation efforts of Claud and Zenada Fuller, this collection of over 300 rare antiques is on display at the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center ion Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.
