Each card of the Tarot carries a unique energy and the collective energy of a spread is the message of the reading. All life force is energy and this energy forms currents that mix and blend to manifest patterns, manifestation in our life. When a card appears reversed this indicates an area where the energy is intensified. It may express an area that is blocked, restricted or yet to be fully developed. It may also indicate energy that has a more inward focus and attention vs when it is upright and has an external expressed energy.
