My automatic investment are 40% into retirement account in hope to put the money to work as hard as I am. You can get the employer matching and invest in all retirement accounts to make your life easier. From personal experience, the money I put into retirement accounts grows steady. As a registered nurse, most of my income is from me providing nursing service to my patients using physical, mental, and emotional skills to work. During Covid-19 pandemic, I work even harder than any other time. Sometimes seven days a week because of the overwhelming patients influx due to Covid-19. I continue to invest in my retirement accounts and keep my target goal of putting money away at 40% of my pay. Always do your own due diligence prior to investing.
