How I fight COVID for the last 10 months as nurse
Today was a blessed day for me and for everyone at work. We have 1,200 employee and work every hard to fight COVID-19. We started our first case in March. Then, we see 50 more cases from this first case linkage. COVID-19 is very infectious and spread as airborne. We used many strategic plans to mitigate the spread of virus. I learned from this outbreak that we can eliminate the spread if we follow these steps:
1. Wear surgical mask
2. Social distancing at least more than 6 ft.
3. Wash your hands
When we started we use cloth mask and seems the virus continue to spread to 1,700 cases. From my observation and contact investigation, I learned that people can be re-infected from COVID-19 if they identified as susceptible case. A susceptible case is a person who already had COVID-19 three months ago. After three months, this person can become susceptible again to be re-infected if this person comes in contact with an infectious COVID-19 person.
