Please try to the following steps
Be sure your system supports the type of disc you are trying to play.
If the issue is with certain types of discs, check that your system supports that type of disc : CD, CD-R, MP3 CD
Be sure the disc is inserted with the label facing up.
Place the disc in your system with labelled side of the disc facing upward. If there is no label, try both sides.
If a disc is skipping, check if the track time counter skips when the audio does.
If the track time counter on the system display progresses normally and does not skip when the audio does, Check for scratches, fingerprints or other physical damage.
The disc may be scratched or damaged which may prevent it from playing properly.
The laser lens may be not clean, please try to clean the laser lens Compact Disc Cleaner CD.
