Alphonse Mucha: Masterworks by Rosalind Ormiston. I recently discovered and fell in love with the art nouveau style which naturally lead me to Alphonse Mucha. One issue I encountered is he has so many art books now, that I didn't know where to start or which was the best one to get. As mentioned in the video, it really depends what you're looking for, Alphonse has a range of drawings / sketches, paintings, decorations, advertising work and so on, as mentioned in the video, I am giving my thoughts as someone who enjoys his art nouveau style of art more than his other stuff.
I reviewed 3 of his other books ( links below ) on camera, so if you are also deciding which books to buy, you might find that helpful. So far I am enjoying this Alphonse Mucha Masterworks book the most and it's excellent value for money, I also hear incredible things about The World of Mucha: A Journey to Two Fairylands: Paris and Czech (Hiroshi Unno) which I will be purchasing and previewing soon!
