How to make a perspective grid in Photoshop 2024 & latest versions (2023, 2022, 2021)
NEW PHOTOSHOP PERSPECTIVE GRID TUTORIAL FOR LATEST VERSIONS (CC, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 etc). How to make an easy perspective tool in Photoshop using the Polygon tool. This can be used for one points perspective, 2 point perspective etc... Once you have created the tool, simply click and drag where you want your vanishing point to be, to be left with some easy to use guidelines!
I originally made a video on this in Adobe Photoshop CS6 many years ago, which helped a lot of people, but as the newer versions of Photoshop released, some small details changed and I had a lot of comments, people telling me it needed updating etc. So here it is, the updated version ( I used adobe Photoshop 2024 here to make sure I was on the latest version, but I tested all the other newer versions since CS6 and they seemed to work! ) I also tried to make this one as short as possible, instead of going into various details, I wanted to keep it simple - but you probably noticed there are options along the way for changing the colours of the grid, changing the line thickness etc.
There are other ways of creating and setting up perspective grids in Photoshop, but this is just the easiest method I know. I sometimes use the Pixel option from the dropdown instead of the 'shape' option too. But it makes little difference to the outcome as the perspective grid should be used as it's own layer or shape that you can delete once you can created your boxes in perspective, or characters in a scene etc. Hope this helps!
