Andrew Cockroach Manga Style 08 by Ominiky Ediciones. The newest art book by Andrea Cofrancesco. This one is a re release of his first art book 'Andrea Cofrancesco Girls Muscles and Funny Things' which is very rare and hard to come by now. It's one of my favourite books, and whilst it's a shame it's no longer available, this new Manga style 08 book is a great alternative at a fraction of the price. As you can see, it is a paper back and a much smaller edition, where as the original was quite large and a hard cover version. From what I can tell it has most of the same art work in, but I think there maybe a few pieces missing. You would need to check through my older video where I show the first book, to compare in greater detail.
I would describe the style as a sketchy anime rendering style ( I mean that in a good way! ) showing fan art from series like capcom / street fighter and Manga. As well as a lot of original art, full, very colourful scenes, chibi designs and more, all of which I think are very inspiring and well drawn / painted. This book ( or the original ) is actually my favourite of Andrews books, his rendering style varies a little in the others, but personally I find the actual content in this one more appealing, more fantasy warrior designs and pin ups. Some of the newer ones seem to have more modern or hip designs on the characters - sorry that's the only way I know how to describe it. So check those out if that's your kind of style!
