New Fender (American Performer) Mustang Bass: Setup
In this video, Paul sets up his new Surf Green / Seafoam Green Fender Mustang short-scale (30") bass (which he bought months ago, in 2023, but didn't have the time to set up, until now). He explains why he went for a short-scale bass before he removes the plastics, checks the neck bow, checks the string heights, checks the arc of the saddles (to see if they match the 9.5" radius of the fingerboard), and sets the intonation. Setting the intonation required a lot of adjustment, but the result was...wonderful.
