Paul converts his pedalboard from mono to stereo. He replaces his mono Empress Buffer+ with an Empress Stereo Buffer+, replaces his mono board-bypass switch with a stereo switch made by Saturnworks, and rewires the the connections among stereo pedals (from mono to stereo wiring). He then compares the sounds of the mono-mode and the stereo-mode for each of five stereo-capable guitar pedals: the Eventide Micropitch Delay, the Strymon Ola, the Strymon Lex, the UA Starlight Echostation, and the UA Golden Reverberator.
Ever wonder what happens when a mono guitar signal is turned into a stereo signal? Listen and find out. It's pretty amazing.
