In this episode, Paul unboxes the third of three pedals he will be adding to the others on his Terra board: an Electro-Harmonix POG2 4-octave pedal, with detuning capabilities. He also uses it to demonstrate that, in Van Halen's "Unchained" outro, Eddie Van Halen must have used not two-finger strums, but single notes with some sort of octave pedal (one octave down). It's an attempt not to replicate the tone, but to demonstrate that an octave effect must have been used...subtly.
