With NC2 Cluster on AWS running AOS 6.8 or higher, additional EBS volumes can be attached to i3.metal, i3en.metal, and i4i.metal bare-metal instances to augment the data storage capacity of each host. NC2 uses the EBS GP3 volumes, which are software volumes on general-purpose SSDs, as a secondary storage tier.

This new feature allows you to move more workloads easily to the cloud and save on hardware costs.
