CHECK OUT MY "OLD PROJECTORS & CAMERAS" PLAYLIST. Although I mention that this projector is 80 years old, it's actually more like 90. Hundreds of thousands of these 'Baby' or 'Home Movie' projectors were made, for distribution in many countries, from the mid 1920s. Shortly after the projector was on sale, there was also a hand-cranked camera available. This version of the projector could accept 60ft (double length) cassettes, and soon extension arms were made available for much longer films on spools. An electric motor was also available, as well as the Dynamo mentioned. I've owned many different models - in the distant past, but this one belongs to a neighbour. These machines still turn up quite often, as do the films. Great engineering quality, ingenious design.
