Working with Device Settings

Welcome to our EasyLog Cloud tutorial video.

On the devices page you will see a list of your devices. Select the device you wish to update the settings on and click the settings icon (cog). The left hand panel lists the devices you have selected and the centre panel has tabs for you to change certain settings.

The properties tab allows you to set the device name, device note, device image, sample rate and synchronisation rate. You can also access the advanced settings on this tab.

The locations tab allows you to set a devices location. The probe tabs allow you to set the measurement name, measurement unit and alarm settings. Watch the ‘Working with Alarm Settings’ tutorial for more detail (link below). The notifications tab allows you to change a device’s notification settings, watch the ‘Working with Notifications’ tutorial for more detail (link below).

Setting changes are reflected by a red marker on each tab, click apply to schedule a settings update the next time your device synchronises to the Cloud.
