Acknowledge and Reset Alarms
Welcome to our EasyLog Cloud tutorial video.
On the home screen you can see how many of your devices are in alarm condition and how many alarms have been escalated.
You can also view your saved ‘favourite devices’, if you have a Professional Account. This lets you see alarm conditions on devices down to the measurement channel. Clicking on the measurement channel shows you detailed alarm information and gives you the option to quickly acknowledge or reset the alarm.
Click on the alarm status pane to navigate to the devices screen showing all devices in an alarm condition. You can see that an alarm has been acknowledged (acknowledge an alarm to mark that you are investigating it) by the red alarm icon with the green tick. You can see a device that has an alarm set, but that is not in alarm condition by the grey alarm icon. You can spot an alarm that has been reset by the red alarm icon with the green arrow – when the device next syncs to the cloud it’s alarm will be reset. A live alarm can be seen by the red alarm icon with a red circle next to it, you can click this to acknowledge or reset it.
Alarms can also be managed in the event log. You can set and clear filters in the sidebar and choose your time period. If you filter it by ‘high alarms’ this will bring up a list of the events with a high alarm, by clicking an event you have the options to acknowledge or reset the alarms.
