BODRUM, Turkey 🇹🇷- - 4K
Bodrum is a coastal city in southwestern Turkey, located in Muğla Province. It sits on the Bodrum Peninsula along the Aegean Sea. Bodrum is known for the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The city’s population is around 35,000, but it increases significantly during the tourist season.
We start our tour at the Bodrum sign, see a the walls of the Bodrum Castle, built by the Knights of St. John in the 15th century, now houses the Museum of Underwater Archaeology. The city is also a major yachting center but on this tour we more check out most of the shopping streets.
In this hour get a good impression of Bodrum. At last we walk outside touristic center towards the bus station, where most tourists arrive.
The Greek island of Kos is not far away and suitable for a side trip, where I stayed a full 3 days before returning to Bodrum ( https://www.youtube.com/results?searc... )
