Hello everyone! Are you trying to connect your Meta Quest 2 VR headset to a Mac? I'm Myky from Electronic Team, and this tutorial is just for you!
Here's what you need for the setup:
- A USB-C cable.
- Your Meta VR headset.
- The MacDroid app installed on your Mac. Download it from the App Store or the official website.
MacDroid allows seamless file transfers between macOS and Android devices, including your VR headset, whether it's a Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro. It supports both wired and wireless connections and can handle multiple devices at once.
To start, open MacDroid on your Mac, select the MTP connection, and connect your headset using the USB-C cable. On your Mac, click "Allow," then put on your headset and approve the USB connection from the Notification Center. Remove the headset and click "Allow" again on your Mac. Your device should now be accessible as a separate folder in Finder.
MacDroid integrates fully with macOS, acting like any other disk on Finder, allowing direct file exchanges and edits on connected devices.
