Be a MindFueler -- Tais Trepanier
Tais Trepanier, Programs Coordinator at the MindFuel Foundation, says that Youth Innovation is solutions [to problems] derived from the natural curiosity and creativity of young people. Tais shares some thoughts on the need for Youth Innovation in Canada because of our aging population, not to mention the necessity of pushing against the status quo. MindFuel's contribution to all this is to increase access to STEM thinking and to the innovation space, especially in traditionally under-represented youth sectors. To Tais, "being a MindFueler" is to help youth to embrace their curiosity and their talents and their creativity, in aid of encouraging them to take their places in the innovation space and in the larger world.
