Volvo V90 T6 Supercharger Replacement DIY (2018-2021 Volvo V90)
►The Volvo V90 is one of several cars on Volvo's SPA platform that uses a twin-charged engine. The inline-4 features a supercharger and a turbocharger working to deliver strong engine performance. However, supercharger issues have become typical for these engines, so there's a good chance you'll need to replace yours at some point.
The signs of a bad supercharger are a lack of response at lower RPMs and an associated warning code within the ECU. Problems are often caused by failing hardware or pulley clutch. Removing the supercharger is the only way to fix them in both cases. Removing and replacing the supercharger is a reasonably involved job, but if you have experience wrenching in the engine bay, you should make it through with the help of this DIY.
