►The BMW F82 M4 GTS is an M4 optimized for the race track. Part of that optimization is an adjustable rear wing that delivers aesthetic improvements and genuine downforce at speed. Your chances of finding a Genuine GTS wing are slim, especially without the trunk lid, so your best option to install one on your car is to go aftermarket. Although that may not sound like a great option, ADRO offers an adjustable carbon GTS-style wing that has the same benefits as the Genuine piece without the cost.
The AT-R1 isn't some Star Wars droid but ADRO's adjustable carbon fiber swan-neck wing for the F8X platform. While the installation process is relatively simple in theory, it cannot be rushed. The process involves drilling holes in your trunk lid, so be sure you have everything appropriately measured before getting to the power tools. You'll also want to thoroughly clean the trunk lid and do a few other steps in preparation, which you will see in the video.
Follow along with FCP Euro's Automotive Design Engineer, Alex Nelson, as he installs an ADRO AT-R1 wing on a BMW F82 M4.
