When the ocean meets the sea: Hiking the Oregon Coast Trail
I know this is a very a typical video to put up on my channel but I thought many of the people who follow me might want to see what I do when I’m not making jewelry :) I really appreciate you guys and I hope you like it!
I put some of my favorite moments together from hiking the OCT. It is a 413 mile thru hike from the tip of Oregon to the California border along the Oregon coast. I had the great pleasure of hiking along side of some wonderful friends and of course my Beautiful and amazing wife on some sections. But a majority of it I was hiking alone. My main takeaway from this trip is first of all, what an awe inspiring place God has given us to explore! And what a privilege it has been to have the ability to explore it. The second one is that an experience you have alone, for me at least, was so much less enjoyable. I like backpacking alone, but that much alone time was hard for me.
