Ableton - How to Connect an Audio Interface

CoreAudio is the same as ASIO on windows. If you're on a windows computer, choose "ASIO" as the driver type in the audio settings under preferences.

This video teaches how to connect and use an audio interface with Ableton.

Steps:
1. Install your audio interface and connect with computer.
2. In Ableton Audio Settings, Choose "Core Audio". Choose your audio interface as the "Audio Input". Choose your audio interface as the "Audio Output".
3. Open a blank Audio Track and choose "Ext. In". Pick the channel your Mic/Instrument is connected with.
