Nintendo Super Mario Run will require an always online internet connection in order for the game to work. The reason Nintendo gave for this is to combat piracy of Super Mario Run. I guarantee you that regardless of this policy Super Mario Run would be on the pirate bay day one. This is going to cause even more pirating of the game.
