Little house where OTMA played: Ella of Hesse's playhouse in Wolfsgarten, Darmstadt - Then and now.
In the year 1903, Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia, together with their parents, went to visit their cousin Ella of Hesse, who lived in Darmstadt, in a place called Wolfsgarten. Ella showed her cousins her special playhouse, and the five little girls had lots of fun playing in it.
More than a century after five little girls played in it, Ella's playhouse still stands in Wolfsgarten today. The little girls are long gone, but the playhouse is still here, for other children - big and small - to enjoy.
