Expanding musical terms
In Electroacoustic - Acousmatic music, exactly because we have the possibility to manipulate all sounds and to do whatever we want with them, concepts like "motif", "melody", or "counterpoint", as well as other formal conventions and musical insights, are being generalized. We make music with all sounds, so the musical ideas and the relevant terms need to expand and enable thought and communication for all things sound.
