How to Fix Audio Video Lag on Elgato HD60 Capture Card. Disable the video preview screen on your computer. Then uncheck the "always convert new files into mp4 format" in the preferences. This will disable the program from video processing the capture files while you're recording. These two actions got rid of the audio being de-synced. Also it got rid of the choppy video and made it run smoothly. I'm using the Elgato hd60 version 2.2.0 software.
