This event worked out pretty well for me, but part of that is down to conditions, and luck! Some people banked on monsoon conditions (as that is basically what things were like leading up to the time of the event itself). My usual closest competitor chose to leave his less aggressive tires on, but while the day was wet, it was far LESS wet than anticipated, and my RE71Rs proved to be by far the better tire for the conditions of the actual event.
Took 1st by over 1.4 seconds. Not bad! :)
