Steps to wipe a hard drive completely:
Step 1. Launch DiskGenius Free Edition. Select the hard drive or partition you want to wipe.
Step 2. Then click “Tools” and choose “Erase Sectors”.
Step 3. Select how to erase the hard drive. Hard drive sectors can be overwritten by zeroes, random data or characters specified on your own.
Step 4. Click “Erase” data when you are ready.
Before you do this, bear in mind that this will completely erase all partitions and files on the hard drive. Be sure you have a backup of any important files before continuing.
