Chapter 1: Fear
Darken Rahl captured Kahlan and Richard. He invented a potion that makes anyone immune to the confessor's touch and took it.
Darken Rahl wanted to force Kahlan to confess the Seeker, so he could swear his allegiance to Lord Rahl in public.
What Rahl didn't expect was Con Dar, or blood rage, taking over Kahlan. The Seeker was released and Darken Rahl had to run for his life...
Chapter 2: Potion
Richard won against Darken Rahl and came back for Kahlan. She almost confessed him but realized who Richard was just in time.
As they were both recovering they noticed - there was one magical potion left that could make Richard immune to any confessor's powers. Including Kahlan...
Chapter 3: Eternity
After a couple of days traveling, Richard and Kahlan stopped for a night in a house of prayer. The confessor was already with child and she shared the news with Richard.
In the morning the couple realized that the place isn't as perfect as it seems and they're held as prisoners.
During their stay, magical barriers and tall mountains appeared. They kept everyone inside and stopped time from moving forwards.
Chapter 4: Escape
Kahlan and Richard decided to escape. Their mission wasn't over - D'Hara needed the Confessor and the Seeker more than ever.
The only way to get out of this cursed place was to climb an extremely steep mountain. Kahlan slipped and grabbed onto Richard. She didn't want them both to fall so Kahlan let go of him. The last thing Richard saw was Kahlan falling to her death.
Chapter 5: Denial
Richard managed to get on top of the mountain and escape the magical prison they were both held in. He couldn't accept the loss of his loved one.
Soon, visions of Kahlan flooded and fogged his mind. Richard didn't know what was real and what wasn't.
He went on a mission of clearing all that was left after Darken Rahl seeing Kahlan's ghost fighting beside him. It gave the Seeker strength and hope. He realized - Kahlan didn't fell just anywhere. She fell where time and death don't exist. The confessor fell somewhere where she's still alive.
And so, after all is fixed and set right in D'Hara, Richard is coming back for her...
