How to enable Ray Tracing and GPU Lightmass | Unreal Engine 5

r.D3D12.DXR.AllowEmulatedRayTracing=1

Ray Tracing doesn't work in UE5 by default. If you want to enable Ray Tracing and the GPU Lightmass in Unreal Engine 5 you need to navigate to:

Unreal Projects - "Your Project" - Config - DefaultEngine.ini

... and then edit the file and add the line:

r.D3D12.DXR.AllowEmulatedRayTracing = 1

... restart UE5 and you're good to go. Ray Traced reflections look much better than Lumen reflections. That's why I wanted to get Ray Tracing back. That and of course for the GPU Lightmass.
