This video goes with Chapter 4 in the Packet Guide to Voice over IP (VoIP) from O'Reilly. In this video we will chat about the Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP) and it's companion the Real Time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP). These can be found in RFCs 3550 (1889) and 3551. They describe the mechanisms for carrying and measuring voice packets across a data network.
