We Completed Visiting Our Second Full Continent!
We visited every country in South America!! 🎉 Idk why but it's my favorite thing to check off the whole continent. It's only one more country, but maybe it's the OCD in me that I get so excited checking off an entire continent! 😜
And South America is a special one to us because it was where we took our first big overseas trip. ❤️ So many incredible people and places here! 😁 I feel like South America doesn't always get the hype it deserves! It is so beautiful, diverse, amazing food! So if you want some ideas for visiting South America here are a few of our highlights of this beautiful continent!
1. Colombia - the entire city of Medellín!
2. Peru - Machu Picchu and the entire sacred valley/Cusco area
3. Brazil - Carnival!! And Brazilian Steakhouse 😍
4. Uruguay - Riding horses on the beach!
5. Argentina - Patagonia hike and Iguazu Falls
6. Chile - the other side of Patagonia 😍
7. Bolivia - Salt Flats
8. Ecuador - Swimming with animals in the Galapagos!
9. Venezuela - Angel Falls! (Really the whole area)
10. Guyana - Waterfall (unfortunately we weren't able to visit this time 😭)
11. Suriname - the only Dutch speaking country in South America 🤯
12. Paraguay - the place we lost our photos 😬 but we liked the capital city and someday would love to visit the waterfall!
