Unable to Connect to Remote Desktop Connection and Getting Error Code 0x4 Unable to Connect? You can fix it easily by these four steps.
Step 1: Go to Windows and search Registry Editor - Right click and run as admin. Go to the following key
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services
Right click on the right pane - New - Dword 32 bit value - name it as "KeepAliveEnable" without the quotes. Open it and Change the value to 1.
Right click again New - Dword 32 bit value - name it as "KeepAliveInterval" without the quotes. Open it and Change the value to 1.

Step 2: Open services - Remote Desktop Connection - Right click and Restart.
Step 3: Open Remote Desktop Connection. Click on Show options at the bottom left. Click on Experience tab at the top. Uncheck and Recheck "Reconnect if the connection is dropped".
Step 4: Open task manager. Right click on Windows Explorer and Restart.

If the issue persists, please restart your system to apply the changes you have made.
