I took a disused railway walk from the site of the former Great Central Railway's Tibshelf Town station in Derbyshire, past what was Tibshelf lower pit, before joining the Midland Railway's Tibshelf to Pleasley branch. I walked the now Silverhill Trail all the way into Nottinghamshire, taking in the now closed Teversal and Silverhill collieries.
