By Oda Nobunaga's order, Oda Nobutada headed for attacking Takeda. Among Takeda's important vassal, Kiso Yoshimasa(in West Shinano)and Anayama Baisetsu(Suruga state) betrayed thier master,Takeda.
Other Takeda's vassal became confused, were nullified. Master, Takeda Katsuyori could not make a war any more, so he did harakiri(comitted suicide) on Tenmoku mountain.
As short as 2 months, famous and prestigious Takeda was completly destroyed. 1 month later Nobunaga knew the news in Mino district
He gave Takeda's territory to his vassal. He ordered Shibata Katsuie and Takigawa Kazumasu to attack next enemy(Uesugi).
Nobunaga himself returned to Azuchi Castle, eyeing to move his army for conquering west part of Japan.
His movement was rapid. He ordered Nobutaka(third son) to be a general of conquering Shikoku(island), Niwa Nagahide to be second general for his support.
He added Hachiya Yoritaka and Saika tribe and Kuki navy army. Total number was more than 20,000.
Nobunaga himself decided to go to help Hashiba Hideyoshi who , asked for the help, was in the war against Mouri in Takamatsu Castle.
This is how Oda's all important vassal were in the battle. Nobunaga started to go to Honnoji. That is his last place.
