WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE?!! FIRST EVER START UP - 300HP SUPER CHARGED MINI JETBOAT
For me the most stressful part of any build I've ever done always comes down to the wiring.. In this video I discover whether or not any of the 100+ connections I had made during the 8ft extension of the OEM wiring harness & axillary harness I had built was done correctly. One loose connection, bad ground, or exposed wire would result in HOURS of back tracking every single circuit to diagnose the issue. BUT thankfully that WAS NOT the case for me!! As you are able to see the ECU not only powered up but I was also able to bump the engine as well and have it turned over just as she should! I still have to go back and plug in the module for the IBR braking system after building a backing plate for it to eliminate the OTAS error code that pops up on the display (which is the cause of that ridiculously loud beeping sound you hear) but once that has been connected we will have one happy, healthy, and SCARY 300hp MONSTER hidden under that engine cover!
As always PLEASE feel free to fire off and questions you may have in the comments so that I might be able to either help with your build, or to curb your curiosity on what I have going on with mine. Although I was basically left on my own to fix the previous mistakes made before I brought it over to Mark at @dimesdailymetalcraft I am more than happy to openly share the issues I faced in the hopes to spare some of you the same frustrations and worries that I had to go through. We truly are all in this together when it comes to these mini JetBoat builds, and I could not be more stoked to be a part of such an incredible community of people who are so willing to help each other out with each others builds no matter what name you have stamped on the hull.
