Main Structure of the Tree House Is Done! | Tiny Home
Fighting the elements the whole way along I managed to get both the lower deck, privacy fence, and MOST importantly the main structure of the tree house built!!
Lower deck was finished with treated 2x10 joists and 1 1/4x6 European spruce radius edge deck boards. Utilized the same spruce deck boards to build the privacy fence after treating the wood with the tiger torch. Main structure was framed in with 2x6x8 studs and is now awaiting the top end of the main load baring wall for the 20ft LVL beam and roof.
This part of the build was definitely taxing having to work under wet/freezing conditions for most of it this spring but as always.. anything worth having, never comes easy!
