How to Setup a Custom Sound Library in Fairlight
The sound library option in Fairlight is an unbelievable time saver.
Why?
Normally you're auditioning sounds in Finder but then adding them to the project and timeline to really test them out.
What happens? You end up with a lot of extra sound clips in your project. Plus, auditioning in Finder in time consuming, you often accidentally open in Apple Music -- The entire process is a pain.
With the Fairlight Sound Library you can easily tell Fairlight to index your current sound files. Once this is done you can search and audition without cluttering your project. And it's MUCH faster.
In this lesson you'll learn how to setup a clean database in Resolve, index sounds, audition a sound and also update the index when more files are added.
