To add a note to a reel or feed post on Instagram, open the app and find the post you want to add a Note to. Then tap the paper airplane icon below or on the right side of the post, depending on what type of post it is. In the menu that appears, select Add Note. Type in a Note you’d like to add, then choose whether you want your note to be visible to followers that you follow back, or just your close friends. Tap Share to post your Note. Your Note will be visible to the audience you’ve selected for 3 days. After that, it will automatically disappear, similar to regular Notes and story posts. If you don’t see the option to post a Note on a particular post, the creator may have disabled Notes from being shared on their posts. The author of the post or reel can choose to delete your note if they are part of the audience you have chosen to share your note with. If one of your friends sees your Note, they can tap it to reply to you in a direct message conversation.
