I'M QUITTING YOUTUBE...! SORT OF...
After more than three years, I've decided to take a break from Super Nerd Video, likely for a very long time.
I'm not quitting YouTube necessarily. I may come back with another channel that's different from this one, or maybe I'll return to this one again in some way.
But for now, I'm putting this channel on hiatus.
I want to focus more time on developing writing and filmmaking skill, among other things, so some sacrifices have to be made with my time.
I love movies, especially sci-fi and superhero movies, so it was a tremendous joy to do this channel for you. There were a nice dopamine rush and sense of satisfaction when I'd made the rare video that raked in major views (at least by my standards), and it was nice to develop a small audience of like-minded fans of today's hottest movies.
I could've just stopped making videos and not say anything, but I felt that would be unfair to you. You might wonder, "Where'd he go? Why'd he stop making content?"
So this is my answer.
I'm moving on, but not forever.
