Suicide Squad 3 SAVED? - WB 45-Day Theatrical Window in 2022
Is WB hesitant to greenlight a Suicide Squad 3 movie? They were all gung-ho about celebrating how fabulous the Suicide Squad was heading into its release, but now that the movie's underperformed at the box office, they're keeping quiet about a third movie in the Suicide Squad franchise. Does this mean they're disappointed and losing faith?
Perhaps, but if so, WB's plan to release its major movies in theaters for 45 days in 2022 before going to PVOD and streaming may be just the right plan to make sure that a Suicide Squad 3 movie makes more box office money than the first one did.
But who's saying WB's unhappy with the Suicide Squad or its box office? The streaming numbers are good, so maybe they think the movie's just fine.
