You'll need
2 green peppers
2 red peppers
1 onion
1 tomato
1 tbsp tomato paste
3 tbsp olive oil
2 cans tuna (160g)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 packet pasta (250g)
For boiling the pasta:
Hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Here's how
After removing the seeds, finely chop the green and red peppers.
Dice the peeled onion and tomato.
Add salt to boiling water in a pot and add half a packet of pasta.
Drain the boiled pasta using a strainer.
Take olive oil in a suitable pan.
Start sautéing the chopped onions, green and red peppers in the pan.
When the onions and peppers begin to soften, add tomato paste and diced tomatoes to the pan.
Stir and continue cooking all the ingredients. At this stage, you can add about 1 ladle of the pasta water to slightly thin the sauce.
Add the canned tuna to the boiling sauce. We recommend draining excess oil from the tuna to avoid it being too oily.
Add red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
Mix everything well and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
Finally, add the drained pasta to the pan. Gently mix until the pasta is thoroughly coated in the sauce.
