Home is a space of conflicting emotions, it is a sanctuary for some and a prison for others. In video games, game designers have become more proficient at not just creating home, and other domestic spaces, but also crafting powerful narratives through them. This video examines the role interior design plays in crafting convincing narrative spaces, and how interactivity allows us to examine the paradoxical duality of our experience with home. However, video games don't just depict domestic spaces, they are most often played from them, living on the bridge between two worlds as we aim to find our true home.
