In this video we talk about different types of DEMAT Accounts viz. Regular, Repatriable & Non-Repatriable.
1. Regular Demat account are generally meant for Residents who resides within India.
2. Repatriable Demat Account is for Non Resident Indians (NRIs). This type of demat account needs to be linked with NRE (Non Resident External) bank account and allows you to transfer money abroad.
3. Non-Repatriable Demat Account is also for NRIs, But under this account money transfer to foreign countries in restricted and this account is meant to be linked with NRO (Non Resident Ordinary) Account.
