Easy Galaxy Painting Tutorial: Step-by-Step Acrylic Art for Beginners

Materials You'll Need:
Stretched Cotton Canvas (8x10 inches)
Acrylic Paints: Lamp Black, Cerulean Blue, Light Purple, Magenta, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Turquoise Blue, Titanium White
Brushes: Flat Brush (1.5”), Small Flat Cut Brush, Liner Brush, Medium Flat Brush
Stationary Sponge
A palette for mixing colors
Water for cleaning brushes
Paper towels or cloth
Steps:
Blend colors in horizontal strokes to create the galaxy background.
Paint soft clouds using a small flat brush with magenta, orange, and darker shades.
Add highlights with medium yellow to make the clouds pop.
Use a sponge to dab pink, magenta, purple, and turquoise blue for the galaxy effect.
Splatter white paint to create stars, and add a planet and sparkling stars as final touches.
