Ube kalamay or kalamay ube is a traditional filipino kakanin made up of purple yam . It is soft ,sticky and chewy. In this video we are sharing a three ingredients ube kalamay recipe , which is easy to make and delicious in taste.Enjoy ube kalamay by lpr kitchen.

2 cups Glutinous rice flour
4 cups of coconut milk
1 can ube macapuno condensed milk
latik (optional)

How to make ube kalamay

Put 2 cups of coconut milk in a mixing bowl.
Gradually add glutinous rice flour and mix well. Avoid lumps.

In a pan pour 2 cups of coconut milk and ube macapuno condensed milk. Bring it to boil on medium flame.
When it starts to boil, add the Glutinous rice flour mixture.
Stir until mixed well.

Continue to cook until the mixture becomes very thick.
Grease a rectangular pan. Put the cooked ube kalamay.
Grease a knife .
Spread ube kalamay and flatten the top using the greased knife
Let the kalamay cool down properly before slicing and top with latik.
Serve and enjoy.
