The Easiest Way to get Better Armor Stats in Destiny 2 #shorts. There are a lot of ways to get better stat armor in Destiny 2 like from Nightfalls, Iron Banner, raids, Trials, and high stat armor focusing at the HELM. But they will often not be the distribution that you want. In general, most people will focus on getting, in priority order: Resilience, Recovery, and Discipline. Where Mobility is more for Hunters only, Intellect doesn't get much benefits past tier 3, and Strength is build specific. But there are ways to make things swing more in your favor.
One of the most popular new strategies is with the Stat Armorer ghost mods that guarantees a minimum amount of a specific stat. But instead of focusing that on Resilience or Recovery, you use the Discipline mod. Because when stats distribute on armor, they direct about half of the stats on the top 3 and half on the bottom 3. And because we mostly don't care about Intellect and Strength, and we do care about Recovery and Resilience, when you focus armor for Discipline, the bottom half goes mostly to Discipline and the rest on the top half has more of a chance to land where we want it. Specifically a ⅔ chance to land on a preferred stat. Whereas if we focused Resilience, we cannibalize Recovery and end up with more points in Intellect and Strength than we want.
